Maintenance contract

Safety and longer life


To extend the life of our beds and ensure that they meet the quality and safety standards set, we also offer maintenance contracts. We offer you the opportunity to choose from two different options.

The first option is one-time maintenance, where we perform a one-time maintenance service on one or more products. This is ideal if you only need occasional maintenance or don’t want to make a long-term commitment. In addition, we offer an annual maintenance contract including inspection according to Stigah standards, based on MDR, NEN and ISO. This includes any repairs to prevent dangerous situations. We also visually inspect other products such as (water) lying elements. Volume discounts are available for several products, and you can use our breakdown service on request.

With a maintenance contract you are assured of a good check on the safety of the bed. Maintenance contracts can also be concluded for already purchased beds and (water) lying elements, please contact our service department for this.

One-time maintenance

At Barry Emons, we offer the option of one-time maintenance, where you engage us to perform a thorough maintenance check on one or more products. This is ideal for customers who need a thorough inspection and tune-up without committing to a long-term contract. Our team will make sure your products are back in optimal working order so they can be used safely and efficiently.

Our process for one-time maintenance:

1. Contact

Contact us for one-time maintenance for one or more products.

2. Situation analysis

Our consultant will talk through the options and wishes together and map out the situation.

3. Visual inspection

We come on site and perform a visual inspection of the product(s). During this inspection, if possible, we perform immediate maintenance up to an amount of €350.

Is more maintenance needed than can be done immediately? Then you will receive a detailed quotation and we will schedule a follow-up appointment. So you are assured of well-functioning and safe products.


Annual maintenance

With annual maintenance you enter into a maintenance contract whereby we perform maintenance on your products on a regular basis, including inspection according to Stigah standards, based on MDR, NEN and ISO. This contract offers you the assurance of well-maintained products without having to think about it every time. Moreover, we ensure that you always meet the applicable safety and quality standards.

Service plan for annual maintenance:

1. Contact

Contact us for a maintenance contract and/or inspections of a bed, (water) lying element and/or snooze products.

2. Situation analysis

Our advisor will visit you and discuss the options and requirements together and map out the situation. Together we decide which products can be inspected annually.

3. The maintenance contract

You will receive the maintenance contract. Once you have signed it, one of our employees will contact you to schedule an appointment.

4. Inspection and maintenance

We carefully inspect the products and, if possible. perform immediate maintenance up to an amount of €350. Does it turn out during the inspection that the maintenance cannot be done in full? Then you will receive a detailed quotation and we will schedule a follow-up appointment. This way, your product remains in optimal condition.

5. Follow up

After a year, we contact you to make a new appointment for maintenance and inspections.

MDR legislation

European safety mark


A good night’s sleep is essential for restless and fall-prone clients and residents. At Barry Emons, we understand that safety and comfort are of utmost importance here, both for the client and caregiver. When purchasing a Barry Emons bed, the MDR mark (Medical Device Regulation) is met. Legislation, effective May 26, 2021, requires medical devices to be supplied in accordance with safety and performance requirements set out in European regulations.

At Barry Emons, we ensure that all beds meet the highest quality and safety standards. Our beds are inspected according to Stigah standards, based on MDR, NEN, and ISO standards. Timely inspections prevent dangerous situations and ensure the safety and durability of your products.

Also for other products, such as xx, we offer inspections according to NEN3140. When inspecting multiple products, we offer attractive bulk discounts. Every situation is unique, therefore our qualified inspectors offer customized inspections. We are happy to make an appointment for an on-site inspection.
