A client’s question arose as to whether an existing locker room at a swimming pool, which was not in use, could be transformed into an experiential world, in which methodical and professional snoozing could be provided.

To maintain the connection to the beloved pool, an underwater world was created. The space consists of a passive corner for traditional snoezelen/sensory and an active corner, where there is much more interaction and one can influence one’s own environment.

Together with various disciplines (staff) of this children’s day care center, a thoughtful content space was developed with an imaginative underwater world look as well.
