A rather unusual musical instrument; you can sit or lie in it and gently rock it at the same time…In fact, the sound cradle is a successful combination of a musical instrument and a piece of (relaxing) furniture. When the strings on the outside of the instrument
are played, pure sounds are created that will lead to intense vibration. By rocking gently back and forth at the same time, the soothing effect is only intensified. Using the sound cradle can really lead to a very large
degree of relaxation in the person lying in it after only a short time.
The wood color may vary slightly from the picture.

In order to prevent this condition from having a negative effect (especially for severely multiply disabled people), a special mattress filled with hay and an herbal mix of melissa, hops and lavender was developed, which is placed in the sound cradle and thus eliminates the strongest vibrations. In fact, several important senses are responsibly stimulated;
hearing, feeling (of the vibrations) and smelling. The approximately 3 cm thick mattress filling is covered with a very strong washable cover and is fixed in the sound cradle by means of a Velcro fastener. This so-called hay mattress is not included and can be ordered separately with item code BE01704.
