Rhône water element

The Rhône waterbed element (formerly music therapy waterbed element Music Care) has everything you would expect from experience-oriented care (snoezelen/sensory): it provides warmth and relaxation, it activates the brain, it stimulates the senses (especially feeling and hearing), it activates the removal of waste products from the body and it offers improved communication possibilities between client and caregiver/caregiver.

The unique and well thought-out technology with which the Rhône waterbed element is constructed makes it possible to exert a beneficial influence on the autonomic nervous system. Together with the specially selected music, based on sound frequencies among other things, a session on the Rhône waterbed element becomes a very experiential activity for both the client and the caregiver/caretaker. A beneficial influence on the nervous system allows the body to come out of its “flight, fight and freeze” state, resulting in more physical and emotional relaxation.

The effect of the Rhône water element is noticeable on both physical and emotional levels, such as:
– better blood flow to muscles and connective tissue
– better lymph flow, waste products are better disposed of
– decongestant, therefore also suitable for spasms
– stimulation of digestion, which can reduce or even prevent complaints such as constipation
– reduction of anxiety and fear

This water lying element has been used for many years in elderly and disabled care, so it is relatively easy to fit into a clinical environment.

The waterligelement Rhône comes standard with a laptop equipped with playback/equalizer software and a series of setting that will get you started right away. Upon purchase of the Rhône waterlig element, we offer a substantive training course focusing on theory and practice. This training can take place at Barry Emons or on site at your newly purchased waterlig element. The training is supported with a content-rich syllabus.

This special water lying element is not suitable for use as a standard snoozle water element in a snoozle room, we have other water lying elements for that.

The Rhône waterbed element is used “stand alone” and more in a clinical setting, where the attendants operating this waterbed element are well trained in the use of music frequencies and their effects. The forces and effects of this water lying element are much stronger than the music trill water elements placed in a snoozing room, for example. The effects we describe are stories of experience. A scientific study of this water lying element has not yet been conducted.
