Snoezelen or sensory activation is a calming or stimulating activity for people with intellectual disabilities or dementia.

Snoezelen is very often done in a snoozle room, but that often brings a number of practical challenges. Snoezle brings the snoozing experience to the user in a mobile way, in his or her familiar environment.

DURABLE LED STRIP

The edge of the Snoezle features 370 LED lights that combine to bring a light show. The LEDs are protected in a plastic tube.

This light show is fully synchronized with the audio and customized by theme.

Snoezle contains several scenes: Underwater, The Forest, By the Sea, Space and Nordic. Each theme exists in two versions: an intense and calm mode.

The intense mode is a more stimulating mode. In this mode there is a little more activity in light and sound. The quiet mode is more relaxing, less stimulating.

The audio is fully synchronized
with the light show and tailored by theme.

Setting up a Snoezle consists of three steps and takes only 10 seconds.

1. Unfold the Snoezle
2. Attach the module
3. connect to the power cable or battery

One press of a button and there is delightful snoozing.

easy to store

The Snoezle can be folded together into a flat disk. Thus, it takes up little space and can be easily stored.

Easy to clean

The best way to clean your Snoezle is with universal disinfecting wipes (for disinfecting and cleaning medical equipment and medical surfaces).

Thorough cleaning is possible by unzipping the textile from the tent frame. The textile can be washed in a hand wash program at max 60° Celsius. Note: no bleach, no tumble dryer and hang to dry.

The Snoezle is made with the roughest target group in mind, so it can take a beating! The tent is made from a non-tearing polyester textile, the sound module from a strong plastic.

Thanks to numerous feedback from our end users, we have been able to continuously improve Snoezle to the robust version it is today.
