The Story Kitchen is a unique project that originated from a cooperation with Zandhove nursing home where a kitchen in fifties style was realized. MéMé has written stories especially for the participants in the cooking activity. Cooking, smells and stories are an excellent combination to elicit reactions. The recipes in the volume are seasonal and, combined with the stories and facts, will evoke memories.

Also included with this release are a DVD with experiences of the Story Kitchen at Zandhove, a manual for staff members, a guide for the manager, to apply for a grant to set up a kitchen and a leaflet about the workshop.
